As reported by Shabestan News Agency from northern Gulistan province, in a meeting with Shiite and Sunni scholars of Lebanon on July 23, 2010 Ayatollah Sayyid Kadhim Noor Mufidi, Jurisprudent Guardian Representative and Gurgan Friday Prayer Leader while pointing to different sects living in the province called unity between Shiites and Sunnis of Gulistan matchless in the country and world.
Unity among Muslims is not a tactic but a religious duty described in holy Quran and traditions of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon him and his descendants), he expressed.
Mentioning that sacred Islamic Republic system is independent and relying on people Ayatollah Noor Mufidi explained, Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the few countries who completely have evacuated alien powers occupation from themselves, the politicians and people don't let aliens to interfere in their interior affairs and that has caused many countries to be enemy to us.
